ELEGOO ASA filament (white) ELEGOO ASA filament (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic – weather-resistant material) in white is ideal for projects that will be exposed to sunlight, rain or high temperatures. The material does not discolour or crack and remains durable even after long periods of outdoor use. This makes it well suited for printing garden, technical and decorative elements. High temperature stability ASA has higher thermal resistance than popular materials such as PLA (polylactide – a biodegradable plant-based plastic) or PETG (modified polyethylene terephthalate – an easy-to-print, durable material). It does not lose its shape even at temperatures close to 100°C, and its mechanical properties remain stable. In terms of impact resistance, durability and rigidity, it is comparable to ABS filament (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene – a material used, among others, in electronic enclosures), which is why it works well in functional designs. Always clean printing The filament is precisely wound with a diameter tolerance of ± 0.02 mm, which reduces the risk of jams and ensures even material feed. The cardboard spool is recycled and vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber, so the material does not absorb water and does not form bubbles. It fits most FDM 3D printers (Fused Deposition Modelling – a technology in which the material is melted and applied in layers).
